Parenthood

On Nov. 18th while our morning service was concluding Karen & I made a presentation of our daughter to the congregation. We took her up front and told the congregation that here is our
daughter, Madai, but the fact is that she is not ours; she’s God’s. God was only gracious enough to bless us by loaning her to us. But with this loan comes great responsibility. God gave her to us saved, perfect, pure, holy, GOOD in the purist sense of the definition of the word. But one
day, if God willing she lives long enough, she will sin and we have the responsibility to raise her and educate her in the ways of God. Secular education, a good job, productivity in society, are all well and good, but they pale in comparison and aren’t worth comparing to her eternal destiny. I take this responsibility seriously. And I beg your help, your advice & your prayers to complete this task before us, that we present her back to God one day the way He gave her to us; SAVED!

Ben, Karen y Madaí
